- Q: What is The Hotel Travel Card
- The Hotel Travel Card provides you and your family a discount on your hotel/resort stay. The amount of the discount is determined by the face value of the card you received. For example, if you purchased/received a $250.00 Hotel Travel Card, you are entitled to $250.00 in hotel/resort savings. The discount will be 12% to 40% (excluding taxes) depending on the participating hotel or resort, per booking. The discount will be applied at the time of booking. The remaining balance of your vacation booking/reservation will be payable also at time of booking. The remaining credit on The Hotel Travel Card can be used for future reservations, until the total dollar amount on your card is expended.
- Q: How does The Hotel Travel Card work?
- Once you have received your Hotel Travel Card, simply visit www.myHotelTravelCard.com, enter the complete code number as it appears on your card, and activate/register your card. Then search the internet for your hotel/resort of choice, and simply fill out our "Reservation Request Form" (on www.myHotelTravelCard.com) and we will process your request with your discount, saving you both time and money.
- Q: Is there a minimum hotel night stay required?
- No, there is not a minimum number of nights required.
- Q: Can multiple travel cards be applied to the same reservation?
- No, only one travel card per reservation is permitted.
- Q: Where can I redeem my Hotel Travel card?
- To redeem your discount and book your hotel/resort, simply visit www.myHotelTravelCard.com. Your Hotel Travel Card
discount can only be redeemed directly from our web site, please do NOT call the hotels or resorts, as they will not be able to apply your discount.
- Q: How far in advance must I request my hotel/resort stay in order to receive my discount?
- Reservations must be made at least 7 business days in advance of the requested travel date.
- Q: Can I select the hotel/resort I want to stay in?
- Yes, you can certainly select the hotel/resort, though we recommend that you allow our Travel Agents to find you the perfect hotel for your particular time and destination of travel, as we may be able to provide you with a larger discount.
- Q: Can you suggest hotels for us?
- Yes, our Travel Agents will offer several hotel/resort suggestions best suited for your particular request.
- Q: Is there a listing of the hotels/resorts on the web site?
- Yes, we do have a partial listing on the site, however, we can process a reservation for any hotel requested (your hotel does not have to be selected from our list).
- Q: Can we book more than one night with you?
- Yes, as a full service Travel Agency committed to serving our valued clients, we can book any travel related service at your request.
- Q: Can you book other car rental, airfare and cruises?
- Yes, we are happy to plan and meet your entire vacation needs, saving you more time and money.
- Q: Can my hotel reservation be changed after it is booked?
- No, once the reservation is made it cannot be changed or canceled. However, if you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us, and we will certainly do our very best to accommodate them.
- Q: Are there restrictions, hooks or strings attached?
- No! You can use The Hotel Travel Card for any hotel/resort in the world, subject to One Stop Travel's availability.
- Q: What if I lose my Hotel Travel Card?
- In the event you lose your Hotel Travel Card, you must contact the company/web site from which you purchased/received your Hotel Travel Card. We cannot replace a lost Hotel Travel Card that has not been activated/registered.
If you have already activated/registered your Hotel Travel Card, simply go onto the web site (www.myHotelTravelCard.com), click BOOK YOUR TRIP (on the top tab), and enter your email address in the appropriate field. We will then send you your code via the email address you registered with, and you can then proceed on to booking your vacation.
- Q: Can I gift/transfer The Hotel Travel Card to somebody else?
- Yes. Provided they agree to the full terms & conditions of The Hotel Travel Card, The Hotel Travel Card is fully transferable.
- Q: Can I sell The Hotel Travel Card?
- No, The Hotel Travel Card cannot be sold.
- Q: Can I call to book The Hotel Travel Card stay instead of booking online?
- To best serve you, we require that you submit your initial request for travel via our web site (on the Vacation Request Form). If you would like to speak to a Travel Agent about your booking, please note this on your travel request, and one of our Travel Agents will contact you to arrange a good time to call.
- Q: How do I contact you if I need to?
- You can contact us via e-mail at any time by e-mailing SupportDesk@myHotelTravelCard.com. You will receive a response within 24 hours from the time you submit your request, Sunday - Thursday. For Friday and Saturday communications, we will respond the following Monday. Customer Care support is available weekdays (except major US Holidays), 9am - 7pm Eastern Time Zone. Agent phone numbers will be provided to you with completed reservation confirmations.
- Q: What if I have already booked my hotel?
- Unfortunately, One Stop Travel cannot take over an existing reservation.
